Send to Exchange
The Send to Exchange connector delivers scanned documents to Microsoft Exchange Server or Microsoft 365 Exchange Online. Note that Microsoft renamed "Office 365" to "Microsoft 365".
This connector can only be added to a workflow whose [Job Processing Location] is set to [On Server].
Send to Exchange Authentication Requirements
You can use NTLMv2 or Kerberos authentication when accessing Microsoft Exchange Server.
MS Account authentication or ADFS authentication can be used when accessing Microsoft 365 Exchange Online.
Authentication when using OpenID Connect
When [From OpenID Connect Login] is selected for [OAuth Token Option] and the authentication profile for the login user is other than OIDC, the access to Microsoft 365 Exchange Online fails.
On the Entra ID portal, set up the additional API access for the app for the OpenID Connect authentication profile to enable single sign-on to Microsoft 365 Exchange Online with OpenID Connect as follows:
-
Allow access to the API "Microsoft 365 Exchange Online (Microsoft Exchange)". Enable the following permissions:
-
Mail.Send (Send email as a user)
-
EWS.AccessAsUser.All (Access mailboxes as the signed-in user via Exchange Web Service)
-
Grant tenant-wide administrative consent for permissions.
To allow configuring the profile of the destination connector, enter the following permission in [Scope] in the [OpenID Connect] tab in [System] [Security] [Authentication Profiles] in the SLNX Management Console:
https://outlook.office365.com/SMTP.Send
